The Court of Appeal has handed down a judgment concerning the government’s proposal to relocate asylum seekers to Rwanda.

By a majority (Sir Geoffrey Vos MR and Underhill LJ, with Lord Burnett CJ dissenting), the Court of Appeal allowed the Claimants’ appeal on the issue of whether Rwanda was a “safe third country”. The Court unanimously dismissed the Claimants’ other grounds of appeal.
