JSC Commercial Bank Privatbank v Kolomoisky and Ors (Appeal)

The Court of Appeal has today handed down judgment unanimously dismissing the Appeal brought by the two main defendants in the long running Privatbank litigation and upholding the first instance judgment (for over US$ 3 billion) in full. Andrew Hunter KC acted as leading counsel for PrivatBank on the appeal.

This follows last year's Trial Judgment and Consequential Judgment (PrivatBank v Kolomoisky & Ors [2025] EWHC 1987 (Ch) and [2025] EWHC 2909 (Ch) in which Robert Anderson KC and Andrew Hunter KC acted for PrivatBank.
