Kate Gallafent KC and Celia Rooney represented The FA and Nick De Marco KC represented Mr Silva and Mr Mitrovic in an appeal before an Appeal Board brought by The FA against the decision of a Regulatory Commission to impose an 2-match touchline suspension on Fulham’s manager, Mr Silva, and an 8-match suspension on its player, Mr Mitrovic, following their red cards in Fulham’s FA Cup Quarter Final match against Manchester United on 19 March 2023. The Appeal Board rejected both of The FA’s appeals that the sanctions were “unduly lenient” and upheld the Regulatory Commission’s initial decision.
