Commissioner for the British Indian Ocean Territory v VT & Ors

Ben Jaffey KC and Natasha Simonsen successfully defended the decision to grant limited bail to migrants on the British island of Diego Garcia in the British Indian Ocean Territory Court of Appeal. The Court of Appeal expressed its concern about the welfare of all the migrants on the island, and particularly the children.
