Acting for Rusal Aluminium, one of the world’s major aluminium companies, (and related defendants) in a claim brought against them on the basis that they wrongfully conspired with the President and Government of Tajikistan to takeover the control and operation of the Tajik Aluminium plant, Tajikistan’s major economic asset. The case involves a claim of 100s of millions of dollars and includes issues about the justiciability of claims concerning the conduct of foreign states in relation to their major economic assets.
