Friends of the Earth v Export Credits Guarantee Department

Appeared before the Information Tribunal with Monica Carss-Frisk QC on behalf of the Export Credit Guarantees Department in a case brought under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. The case concerned the application of the “internal communications” exemption in the EIRS and involved consideration of the constitutional principle of collective ministerial responsibility. The case is currently on appeal to the High Court.
